If you’re on my website chances are you’re either struggling with an addiction to alcohol or questioning your relationship with alcohol. Perhaps you’re tired of feeling that alcohol has a hold over you or you’re embarrassed by your behavior when drinking, or maybe you are just ready for a change.
The good news is that you don’t have to continue living with alcohol at the center of your life. With the right mindset and strategies, you can learn to make alcohol a small and irrelevant part of your life.
The first step in making alcohol small and irrelevant is to acknowledge that it has your attention as something that you think needs to change. This may involve admitting to yourself that you want to take a break from alcohol or that you have grown uncomfortable with how much and how often you drink, or that alcohol has a hold over you and you are at a loss for how to get your life back.  The point here is that alcohol is more central in your life than you would like it to be.
Once you’ve acknowledged you are ready to take action, working with a personal coach who specializes in helping people make changes to their relationship with alcohol is a good next step.
As a TNMI certified coach, I will help you break free of the blame and shame cycle that can often keep you stuck and interfere in your attempts to change your relationship with alcohol. And I will help you become aware of your beliefs about alcohol that can keep you locked in a pattern of overdrinking. I will teach you how to turn these thoughts and beliefs around for lasting change. No willpower needed!
